Mary-Go-Round
You push me and pull me in circles, round and around.
You do this all the time, hurry and make up your mind.
Sorry to tell you this but without you the sun still shines.
The things I've done for you and all the things you've done to me.
It feels like karma is slowly catching up with me.
Though I tell the truth, all you do is lie.
You never show emotion, if you're sad or even cry.
Frantic and confused and you're never satisfied.
You probably replay things inside your head and wonder why.
You took me, you pulled me in circles, round and around.
Three million things in the back of your mind,
single-file and taking up all your time.
They're distracting you from living life, craving something fresh and new.
Another fix, another excuse; you want it all to come to you.
So you need a slave, well I don't want to.
You hog the reigns: that's a big mistake.
Give me my chance; what about my turn?
I take this stand: your turn to learn that love ain't free, it's a two-way
street.
I thought you knew, but before I'm through I give this test to show some
respect. I've been patient long enough and weathered through the rough and
tough.
I don't want to be with a brat, you better grow up fast!
